Galishte is already abandoned settlement, located on southwestern end of territory of the Municipality of Kavadarci which in Mariovo area touches the territory of the Municipality of Vitolishte The village is a mountain at an altitude of 740 meters From the the town of Kavadarci the settlement is 31 km away Area is very large and covers 52.1 km2  Forests dominated on  4011.7 ha, arable land occupy 155.3 ha. and pastures only 16.7 ha. Basically the village has a Crop - Forestry function. In older times the settlement was probably moved because nearby Galishte there is church St Atanas  which is assumed to have been built in the late XVII century
