Manastir is located on the west side of Prilep's  Mariovo and belongs to territory of the Municipality of Vitolishte. The village is hilly, at an altitude 690 meters. From the town of Prilep village is 38 km away. Area occupies of 15.5 km2. ,arable land  occupies  253 ha , pastures occupy 705 ha and forests almost gone. The village has a Crop - livestock function. In 1954 the settlement was discovered Monastery  of St.Nicholas, in which a preserved mural originates in 1560. Manastir is a small settlement in the phase of abandonment.
